GTA 6 Is Getting Its First-Ever Themed PlayStation Controller
PlayStation 5 players will soon have the chance to add a special GTA 6-themed controller to their collection.
The limited-edition DualSense will reportedly come in two color options: a dark version and a light version. Both designs feature the game's iconic “VI” logo in the center of the touchpad, while the grips are decorated with a palm tree-inspired texture that pays tribute to Vice City.
Despite the custom design, the controller itself will function just like a standard PS5 DualSense. The main difference is its appearance and limited availability, as Sony plans to release it as a special-edition accessory rather than a permanent addition to its lineup.
Pre-orders are set to open on September 10, with the controllers expected to arrive on November 19 — the same day GTA 6 is scheduled to launch.
The special edition will reportedly cost €84.99, making it around €10 more expensive than a regular DualSense controller.
What makes the release particularly interesting is its place in GTA history. This marks the first time that a Grand Theft Auto game has received an officially themed PlayStation controller. It also appears to be the first time one of Rockstar Games' titles has received this kind of treatment from Sony.
For GTA fans, the controller could end up being more than just another gaming accessory — especially if the limited-edition design becomes a collector's item after launch.
